Chris founded Tatro Inc. in 1974 as a landscape design-build company. Based in Cincinnati, Ohio, Tatro Inc. quickly became known for its innovative approach, designing, installing, and maintaining numerous award-winning properties. The company revolutionized the traditional design-build industry with its forward-thinking solutions and continues to identify and develop game-changing technologies inspired by bio-mimicry. Today, Tatro Inc. holds five patents, focused on creating solutions that address global needs. After 36 years of success in design-build, Chris shifted to full-time development of new technologies and partnered with his son, Jacob, in 2015. Together, they created TºCool®, the only proven cooling technology in the synthetic turf market.

Jacob Tetrault serves as the Director of Brand Development for TºCool and the Managing Partner of Tatro Inc., where he leads a diverse portfolio of products across the synthetic turf, civil, and environmental sectors. Driven by a passion for innovation and problem-solving, Jacob focuses on developing solutions that deliver meaningful, sustainable impact.
In 2015, he joined forces with his father, Chris Tetrault, to design and commercialize technologies that redefine industry standards and contribute to a more sustainable future. Jacob is deeply committed to advancing green innovation and ensuring that the products Tatro Inc. brings to market align with the principles of environmental harmony and long-term performance.
