Synthetic turf offers beautiful, low-maintenance landscapes—but during the summer it can become too hot to comfortably enjoy. TºCool® is a patented evaporative cooling infill that helps reduce synthetic turf surface temperatures by up to 50°F when hydrated, creating cooler outdoor spaces for families, pets, schools, parks, playgrounds, and commercial landscapes.

How Does TºCool Work?

TºCool works through the natural process of evaporative cooling.

After rainfall, irrigation, humidity, or morning dew, TºCool stores moisture within the turf system. As the sun heats the surface, that stored moisture slowly evaporates, removing heat energy and helping keep synthetic turf significantly cooler for extended periods.

Independent testing and real-world installations have demonstrated surface temperatures are reliably reduced 30°F–50°F, with some testing showing reductions of up to 60°F under certain conditions.

T°Cool® landscape products use an EPA registered BioBased antimicrobial derived from the renewable resource Chitosan.
